Dinner benefits animal welfare projects

The Pennsylvania Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) held its 9th Annual PAWS Chef Dinner at Lincoln Financial Field on June 24. At the unique event, the city’s best chefs created three-course food and wine pairings table side for 12 people each. Proceeds from the event benefitted the construction and summer/fall 2013 opening of PAWS’s second adoption center and spay/neuter and wellness clinic, to be located in Northeast Philadelphia.
